WAYS TO PARTICIPATE
Join the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce and HIRE LA’s Youth as we host workshops and mock interviews for hundreds of young adults preparing for entry-level employment.
Enroll once as a volunteer, then use your primary email address to view and register for upcoming volunteer opportunities.
As a volunteer, you will train and assess competencies, mentor youth and provide constructive feedback to improve their chances of being hired.

MOCK INTERVIEWER
Participate as a volunteer interviewer at our Work Readiness Certification Sessions. Local youth need skills and training as they begin their first job search. As a volunteer, you will interview, evaluate and mentor young job seekers to help them prepare for entry level jobs and internships.

JOB SKILLS FACILITATOR
Facilitate a Job Skills Workshop that helps youth understand employer expectations and what it takes to get an entry-level job. The curriculum includes resume building, cover letters, interview skills, workplace etiquette and reviews next steps in the preparation for the Work Readiness Certification Session.
